I just ended the call straight away, it was definitely a scam.

Someone called about housing repairs, checking if there were any problems like damp. Hard to follow as the person had a strong Asian accent. After the first caller, they handed me over to their supervisor (always a red flag when you get passed up). When I asked for a local landline number, he gave one starting with 787, which doesn't sound like a UK number since ours start with 0787. Not sure what their game was, probably trying to reel info out of me. Ended up hanging up on me anyway :)

Didn't want to say a word... ended up reporting them to the cops for being a nuisance.

Some person rang me saying they were from Energy Save UK. I just ended the call as soon as they said who they were.
