It could be NS&I as some say, but when the phone rings it honestly sounds just like one of those dodgy scam calls. I never pick up if I think it's a scam.

I got a call back from this number after I reached out with a complaint - it’s the NS&I customer service line from nsandi.com. The person on the phone had a Sunderland accent and was really helpful in sorting things out. From what I’ve seen, this number is genuine and trustworthy.

I got a call from someone with a really thick accent and couldn’t understand much of what she was saying. Just to be on the safe side, I told her my problem was already fixed. Glad to find out it was actually a genuine call.
