I found www.domesticapplianceare.com, and honestly, the prices here are way better than d&g. Totally legit, no scams or anything fishy going on.

Received a phone call supposedly about lowering my bill, but once the person asked for my account details, I quickly ended the call. They claimed to be from DGS (Domestic and General) but why would they need my account number when they already have it registered? The caller also tried to arrange a single direct debit payment which is not how DGS handles payments - I have separate DDs for each appliance. We’ve got to be careful with these dodgy calls. The number actually showed up as D.A.C, which isn't even close to the right company name. Funny but annoying!

Got a call from someone saying it's about a Hotpoint washing machine and asked if I was still paying £9 a month for cover. I told them I'd never pay for that, I'd just get a new machine if anything broke. The moment I said that, the caller just ended the call. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
