When they ring up, they act like they already have an account with you, but really they’re just working off some dodgy incomplete info from a database. Their methods are really sneaky, trying to get you to sign up by any means. My mother in law has been caught out twice by them now. I was quite polite this time (don’t ask me why), but honestly, I’d just tell them to buzz off straight away.
