Someone called claiming to be from EE, saying they could give me a discount on my bill. When they said they’d put me through to a manager to sort out a 40% reduction, I just hung up. Later, I rang EE myself and they said they hadn’t rung me at all, and it was a scam trying to get my personal details. They warned me that if I’d handed over any info, the scammers could’ve made purchases on my account online.
