2 yearsThey rang me up but never bothered to leave a message.2 yearsThey rang but never left any message.2 yearsI missed the call, so I decided to ring 1471 to find out who had been trying to reach me. It turns out the number was 03301220072. It's quite baffling how some people can't seem to find legitimate employment and instead resort to making these irritating calls.2 yearsI asked my elderly father about his bank details, but fortunately, he doesn’t have any of that information and can’t access his account, all thanks to my vigilance.2 yearsI’ve received three calls from this number in quick succession. The first time, they had the audacity to share my name and home address-information I provided ages ago, mind you. I calmly told them I wasn’t interested and asked them to leave me be. The second call came in all too soon; the caller seemed puzzled by my abrupt hang-up. Not wanting to entertain them any longer, I answered once more, adopting my finest naval tone, and firmly told them to take a hike and that they were clearly peddling some sort of scam. Guess what? They promptly hung up on me. It's worth noting, the caller had an Asian accent. Quite the nuisance, I must say!3 yearsReceived a call from this number, apparently from a rather assertive gentleman with an Asian accent. He was insisting on speaking to the "lady of the house" concerning my insurance for two appliances. He was trying to claim that I pay annually, which is simply not the case. I decided to hang up, but not long after, he rang me back, quite put out and wanting to know if I had indeed cut the call. I confirmed that I did and reiterated that I have no insurance with their company and certainly don’t pay on a yearly basis. His response was simply, “alright, goodbye,” before he disconnected. I must say this isn't the first time I've encountered this sort of call.3 yearsReceived a rather dodgy call claiming we were entitled to a rebate due to not submitting a claim. They pressed for our bank details, but we firmly said no. Interestingly, they claimed to be from Domestic Insurance, a company with which we don’t even hold a policy. Clearly a scam, so be cautious of this number!Domestic Insurance3 yearsMy elderly parents had a similar experience. I happened to be present during the call, and the agent was incredibly persistent, refusing to respect my father's wishes. When Dad finally said, "I'm not interested, thanks for your time, goodbye," he hung up. Almost instantly, the phone rang again. I picked it up, and the agent, mistaking me for my father, began to scold me for being disrespectful and cutting off the conversation.Dad3 yearsI had a rather unsettling experience with a phone call from this number. A gentleman claimed to be representing Domestic and General, attempting to peddle insurance policies. He was insistent about needing bank details and seemed to have a knack for convincing my elderly relative. However, when I intervened and took control of the conversation, his tone shifted dramatically, and he rather politely ended the call. Upon checking with Domestic and General, we found out that it wasn't them reaching out at all. So, it appears we've stumbled upon a scam operation! Be cautious, everyone!Submit Your Own Report (0330 122 0072)
