I've had this number ring me a couple of times today! Tried calling back but couldn't get through, which was a bit odd. The man claimed he was from the Social Housing Support Team and asked if my home has been kept up to date regularly. What kind of question is that? Not really comfortable with it at all.

Got loads of calls like this. They say "I just need to ask you 4 quick questions" but it drags on for ages, like 20 minutes or more. Ended up blocking them.

Some woman from council housing called about possible damage to my place. When I asked how she could prove it was a genuine call, she just hung up. Blocked her number straight away.

I've been bombarded by this number a staggering fifteen times! It all kicked off after a bit of a disagreement, and now they're trying to get on my nerves by incessantly calling me. I asked them quite firmly to remove my number from their records, but the bloke on the other end wouldn’t hear of it. Instead, he suggested I contact the council. Unbelievable!

guy with an accent knew my name and said he was from the housing repairs team, mentioned my previous address too. I told him he’s got the wrong number. dunno what he was after, but not bothering to find out.

18/5/22 at 10:48am, got a random call out of the blue. Didn’t pick up. Didn’t leave any message either. Blocked straight away.

Got a call about some social housing survey, I just hung up and blocked the number. How do they even know my name and number? Seems like someone’s selling info or something, cause how else would they know I’m in social housing? Really fed up with all this now, missed an important call yesterday ‘cause it started with the same digits.

guy with an indian accent talking about life insurance firms making cash if you outlive the policy, which i thought was normal anyway. didnt stay on the call for long, mentioned I’m on the telephone preference service and then ended it. he sounded really pushy. cant find any legit company linked to this number online, so probably a scam.

Got a robotic voice saying id be prosecuted if i didnt call back right away. Total scam, nothing to do with hmrc for sure, they’d never call like that. So i just ended the call.

heads up for loads of scam calls claiming to be from hmrc! these scammers use all sorts of tricks to try and get cash out of people. they usually push you into handing over your card info, then steal money straight from your bank. stay alert!

Some bloke rang me saying there was tax fraud linked to my name and if I didn't hit 1 right away, there’d be a warrant for my arrest. Proper dodgy, just block and don’t pick up.
