Caution, folks! I’ve had a rather unpleasant experience with some con artists masquerading as Pro-Active Learning, claiming to support educational charities. They initially entice with a free advertisement offer, but after a mere three months, they spring the trap, insisting you’ve committed to a yearly subscription that’ll set you back £299 every quarter. They’ve even had the audacity to threaten legal action, asserting that you’ve verbally agreed to their terms. If you attempt to cancel, they bombard you with calls, insisting that each quarter needs cancellation and continue with court threats, or they’ll dangle a discount as a ‘kindness’. I’ve lodged a complaint with trading standards. Truly a despicable bunch!

Heads up, everyone! I've been receiving calls from an outfit called Pro-active Learning Solutions, and I suspect they might be up to no good, soliciting funds for children's books. They've reached out to me several times using various numbers. I suggest steering clear of them or blocking their calls altogether. Better safe than sorry!

Last year, I received a rather dubious call from this number, claiming that I had signed up for a children's road safety sponsorship and that I owed a whopping £400. Just recently, they've resumed pestering me, expressing gratitude for my so-called renewed commitment and cheekily requesting payment via card. It’s best to steer clear of this number altogether and, if possible, block them.

What a con! I received a call claiming I contributed to a children's road safety charity last year, and they wanted me to make another donation of £349. Absolutely not, thank you very much!

Received a call around noon, and not a hint of decency from him to mention his dodgy scheme!

Fraudulence disguised as guidance from a children's road safety initiative. A recognised scheme for trickery, I daresay!

Today, I received a call from a chap claiming to represent a charitable organisation, seeking a donation. Naturally, I decided to look up the number he rang from and was quite taken aback to see a multitude of warnings about this individual not being genuine. It's utterly shocking that there are individuals out there who would exploit the good intentions of others and siphon funds meant for those in need!

It's unmistakably a con, as many have pointed out. They mentioned earlier conversations and my supposed commitment to fund a book for schools, claiming they'd be dispatching a copy alongside my £199.00 bill. When I informed them that I hadn't engaged in any prior discussions or given consent, they abruptly cut off the call!

I received a call linked to my dad's information but on my personal number. He resides a good 200 miles from here. I didn't disclose any details but was curious about how they had his info. The moment I pressed for answers, they abruptly terminated the call and wouldn't reveal who they were. The caller sounded like an angry female.

I received a call from this number, and the person on the line was insistent on verifying my date of birth. They claimed I had previously asked them to use it as a security check or something along those lines. Total scam, without a doubt! - caller: 03301170977

I received a rather peculiar call today on my work line from the number 03301170977. As soon as I picked up, the chap on the other end asked me to bear with him for a moment and promptly placed me on hold. Prior to that, it was quite evident that I was in the midst of a bustling call centre, given all the commotion in the background. At that point, I decided to end the call.

I had an identical experience today! Some chap rang me up claiming I owed them £299 and insisted they had an invoice bearing my business's name. What really rattled me was the fact that they possessed a trove of my business details. Honestly, I loathe the state of today's world; it's incredibly intrusive, and it feels as if privacy has become an obsolete concept. I even tried to raise the issue with Ofcom, but they seemed rather indifferent. - number dialled: 0330 117 0977

I recently encountered a similar bizarre scam; it's utterly perplexing how individuals can be taken in by this sort of nonsense. The number that rang me was ‭0330 117 0977‬.

I received a call from this number today, and it was patently a scam. The individual on the line claimed to represent a charity, insisting that I had previously conversed with them and consented to fund a package of resources for a school. They aimed to have a chat about the sponsorship and gather payment details. It was all blatant falsehoods and a crafty con. - Caller: They feigned to be from a child protection charity - the number isn't registered anywhere.
