I recently had the misfortune of being contacted by a company identifying itself as True Value Energy. Strangely, a quick search on Google yields absolutely no information about them, which has raised more than a few red flags for me (as of November 2016). They obtained my contact details after I submitted an online request to the Energy Savings Trust regarding assistance for a boiler replacement. They left a number on my home voicemail for me to reach out, but every time I try to call, I’m met with a request to leave a message-never able to speak to anyone named 'Steph'. I’ve now thrown in the towel; I can’t shake the feeling that this might be a scam or even a premium rate line, and it's quite disconcerting not being able to find any reputable information on the company.
