I hired a proper plumber and settled the bill with them. But then, I got a rather pushy call from a number I didn’t recognise, insisting I owed more because the job supposedly ran over an hour. That wasn’t the case at all. When I checked with the actual plumber, they confirmed I’d paid in full and nothing else was due. Pretty sneaky scam if you ask me. Thankfully, I didn’t fall for it and refused to pay anything extra.

Total rip off. They showed up and immediately wanted £250 just for coming out. Took them about half an hour messing around with my water tank that was dripping, then they slapped on another £450 bill. Didn’t give me any receipt or way to get in touch, and the leak never got fixed. Avoid these lot!
