This number kept ringing me loads, so I decided to call back. Someone answered straight away saying they were from Scottish Power and asked for my address and date of birth. It didn’t sit right with me so I just hung up. I then messaged Scottish Power, who supply my energy, with the number, and they told me it’s a scam and to block it.

They kept ringing me up to seven times a day, starting super early and even right before bed. Didn’t pick up, but they left two voicemails - one was totally silent, the other just had some heavy breathing noises.

Scottish Power are back at it again!!! Looks like they’ve ditched the old 0141 Glasgow number. They kick off with ‘Am I speaking to the account holder?’. Doesn’t matter what you say, they always say you owe money. I’ve given them the postcode of 10 Downing Street, Buckingham Palace, and guess what - still owe cash! I usually just mess about with them. But seriously, just ignore these calls. No matter what threats they throw at you, never share your real name or address. I just answer for a bit of fun. They’re absolutely disgusting, targeting people who might be vulnerable.

I've received a few calls from this number lately, and each time, the line went dead after a moment of silence. The latest call was from a woman claiming to represent Scottish Power. She asked if I could spare a minute to chat, and just as I was about to respond, she cut the line! Quite odd behaviour, if you ask me.

Its that debt collecting lot from Scottish Power. They keep ringing nonstop, like from the day after your payment is due and then go on even for a few days past when you already sorted it. Feels really heavy handed to me.

A bloke rang and said he was from Scottish Power, asking for a Mr Evans. I told him no one by that name lived here and he just said alright, thanks, goodbye and have a nice day. If I do hear the message, I quickly check if it’s someone I actually need to speak with and cut in, otherwise I just end the call.
