It's a classic debt con, run by an Indian call centre, and honestly, their accents are so thick it's hard to make sense of what they're saying.

They've been ringing my place loads of times, and I got fed up, so I called back and gave them my name, saying I don’t owe anything and asked to have my number taken off their list... The bloke on the other end said he’d sorted it and was fairly polite... Fingers crossed it stops now.

This bloke rang me after 10 this morning. He said he was from some CDS group. He knew my name already, but then he asked me to say my address out loud. When I asked what the call was about, he didn’t give a clear answer, but said if I confirmed my details he’d explain it.

The number given on the "NOTICE OF DEMOBILISATION" stuck to my car window with strong glue by CDER enforcement officers, probably Mr. May, was 0782111429 or something similar. The other papers they left behind talk about made-up motoring debts supposedly owed to Southwark and Lambeth councils in London.

CDER then starts chasing you for the money even though TFL has already dealt with it. If you’ve settled everything with TFL, make sure you keep all your documents safe because CDER has no right to come after you for those fines. Don’t let these bullies push you around.

So, I foolishly forked out cash to these lot about 4 years ago when they claimed I had an unpaid parking fine. Was proper terrified they’d turn up to “seize stuff” like they warned. Now they’re back, saying I owe more than £900!!! Guess I’m an easy mark for them now! Just gonna ignore it!

CDER GROUP - This might be an actual company, but they keep bothering me about some “unpaid debt” I supposedly owe, even though I’ve never had any dealings with them. They’re either a really pushy scam or have awful fraud protection in place. I get calls and texts non-stop, asking for someone I’ve never heard of. No matter how often I tell them the number’s wrong, they just keep ringing from different numbers.

Some bloke called claiming he was from TFL, saying I owed money for the congestion charge. I told him I don’t have a car anymore, but he insisted the debt was from back in February. I still didn’t own a car then. When I asked if it might be linked to the train (knowing full well you don’t get charged for trains), he admitted it probably was. I’ve blocked the number now - definitely a scam!

03301070023, Cder group, seems to be linked with TFL for following up on parking and traffic fines that were issued after the deadline. I’ve handled similar issues straight with TFL before, and all mine got dropped. However, this company is chasing the payment even tho these fines were legally dismissed by both the courts and TFL. They have no proper right to demand money in this case.

03301070023 kept ringing me 3 times between 15th Feb and 10th March 2021, but I never answered. Then from 5th August to 24th Sept 2020, I got 8 texts from them too. They said something about CDER Group and had a link for paying something. Pretty sure it’s a dodgy scam trying to trick people!

Got a message like that sayin my account was overdue and to inform them if I was self-isolating due to Covid because of bailiffs visiting. I called the number as I was a bit worried, they asked for my name and if I had a son living with me. Then they said they’d got the wrong person and that my details would be taken off their system. Should have looked into the number before, but seeing a message like that first thing was proper stressful. People doing stuff like this are just rubbish, no place for them anywhere.

Got a few texts saying they’re disappointed I didn’t sort a problem with Luton council and that collectors are nearby. But I’ve lived in Brighton for 15 years and don’t even drive, so it’s total rubbish! Collection agencies always send proper letters first, so don’t get scared by these threatening messages. Please let elderly friends and family know about this, as they might get scared and end up giving money to these scammers.

I just got a text from 03301070023 saying its a covid alert and to ring them if anyone at my house has symptoms before they come over. I’ve no clue who these people are. My husband is seriously ill and very at risk, and we’ve been shielding since lockdown. I checked the number and it seems to belong to some sort of debt collectors or bailiffs. I’ve deleted the message now, but honestly it’s really unsettling to get something like this out of the blue.

I didnt get a call, but they left a sticker on my car with this main number and a mobile number too. I rang the landline, they asked for info but i wouldnt give my name, only the reg plate. When i asked what they wanted next, like my bank details or something, the woman just hung up on me. Im proper worried now cause they said they put something on my car to stop it moving but it still drives. My husband left ages ago, and im on me own with four kids, one has special needs and ive got to get them to school.

Got these texts from jbw saying I need to contact them or they'll send some enforcement agent to take my stuff away. The newest one even says ANPR cars are in my area and my car could be taken! I don't owe a penny and the car’s old and fully paid off ages ago. Sounds like another scam to me?

Got a message saying I’ve got an unpaid account but they didn’t say who it’s for. They claimed to be from a company called jbw. Since I don’t have any bills pending, I reckon this is just a phone scam trying to trick me into calling a premium rate number and getting charged loads. I’m not falling for it and won’t be answering back.
