The voice had a clear Pakistani accent. I also got a call from the same number where the caller claimed to be from British Gas. When I responded, he spoke to me in Hindi, which is common among Asians. Since Hindi accents vary by region and the one he used matched Pakistani style more than ours, I figured he must be from Pakistan or maybe Bangladesh.

03301000222 keeps ringing my work and my personal phone saying they're from EDF, my energy company. But it's not just that one number, they’ve used at least six other 0330 numbers too. Recently I ended a call with a guy speaking with an Indian accent, and right after, another 0330 number called me. When I didn’t pick up, they just ended the call. Then my phone started showing my own number as the caller! When I answered, the same person was chatting about my energy deal. Watch out! This has scam written all over it!

This has to be a scam for sure. My cafe is registered with Just Eat and recently I got a call pretending to be from them, but I reckon their number was hacked. I've been receiving numerous calls from a bloke named Adam Roy who claims he's with British Gas. He seems to be quite insistent, even going so far as to say that my contract with them has been turned down and that I need to switch to E.ON.
