Just got a call from 033 0088 8999, but no voicemail left. Turns out it's OneCom - honestly, one of the worst telecom firms here in the UK. Their customer service is a nightmare, and they just won’t quit ringing you. They try the usual tricks, saying they're from *your mobile provider* or sometimes pretending to be BT. I’d steer clear of them, totally not to be trusted.

Then they launched into their sales pitch and I couldn't even get a word out. I ended up hanging up and blocking their number. Got a call from someone saying they were from Openreach, checking if our bills were right and offering to find a cheaper plan. I told them that because our internet contract already covers the line rental through another company, and that Openreach wouldn’t be sorting that out, their story sounded off. As soon as I said that, the bloke just ended the call. Total scammers, just ignore if you get this.

First, they claimed to be from OpenReach, but then I was transferred to a sales manager called Rob. He was really unpleasant and quite rude. When I told him I wasn’t going to commit to anything on the phone, he got quite aggressive. He rang me again today and after I said I wasn’t interested, he called me hostile. Today, he even said he was phoning on behalf of OfCom. I’m planning to report this to Action Fraud and would urge others to do likewise.

I reckon this was a sketchy call since I’m not allowed to discuss my husband’s business account with BT. The bloke asked if he could speak to me instead, and I said, “I’m not authorised.” BT always says my husband has to give permission. He then goes, “Oh, why’s that?” So I told him, “If you were really from BT, you’d already know I’m not authorised and wouldn’t be asking me.” So I ended the call. Some people are just awful. I honestly don’t trust anyone who rings up these days. He was clearly trying to sound like he was from BT until I called him out.
