I had a call from someone pretending to be from O2, offering a 40% discount on my bill. It felt dodgy straight away, even though they gave me a code that looked real. I didn't trust it and told them I wasn’t interested in the discount. Later, when I rang O2, they told me I was lucky not to give out that code because scammers could have accessed my account and made orders delivered somewhere else. There’s loads of ways these fraudsters can rob you, so watch out. I’ve reported it to help protect others. Hopefully, something gets done to stop these calls soon.

They claimed to be with O2 and even managed to set off O2 security codes, which made the call seem legit, but honestly, it wasn’t legit at all!

Got a call from 0330 088 8439 pretending to be O2, asking me for an access code they supposedly sent. Thing is, they didn’t even know my name, which is odd because O2 normally have your details on hand and just ask you to confirm them. Plus, O2 never asks for any codes like that over the phone. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Got a call saying it was O2 offering some sort of discount, but the accent was so thick and the connection awful I could barely understand a word. Been getting calls like this nearly every day recently. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call, but they rang back immediately after. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Received a call from someone claiming to be O2, offering me a 40% discount on my current contract. I decided to ring O2 directly to verify, and surprise, it turns out it wasn’t them at all! Total scam, I wouldn’t recommend sharing any personal details with them. When I pressed the caller about how they managed to get my information, they dodged the question entirely. I mentioned GDPR rights and how I had a right to know where they got my number, and that’s when they abruptly ended the call. Just goes to show, be cautious out there!

I had a call from someone purporting to be from O2. They sent me a text with a security code and then proceeded to ask me to confirm that code. Interestingly, the follow-up message specifically mentioned never sharing that number. I wasn't comfortable sharing it and the caller became quite pushy about it. I eventually hung up. Just a heads up, it's clearly a scam!
