I got a call from a bloke with a bit of an accent, sounded legit and was about NHS Volunteer Responders. I had started the ID check for them a few days ago but never got round to finishing it. They’re updating the system now that Covid’s slowing down. He left me a voicemail saying my ID check wasn’t finished, just in case I wanted to have another go. He didn’t push me to ring back or ask for any personal details, which I thought was fair enough.
