I received a voicemail from this number, claiming it was regarding an issue with HMRC and urging me to return their call. Curiosity got the better of me, so I dialled back, but to my dismay, there was no response. I felt relieved when I stumbled across reports online - clearly, this is some kind of scammer or hacker trying to exploit the current precarious times we’re living in, what with the pandemic and all. Best to keep your distance from this one!

I had an encounter with this number claiming to represent HMRC, but let me tell you, it’s a total facade. I suspect it’s just a dodgy call centre operating out of India or Pakistan.
