Got two texts supposedly from Lloyds Bank saying there were strange payment attempts on my account through some Single European Payment thingy, and they told me to call back fast on a number they gave. I rang the number a few times but it just kept ringing and then went to voicemail where it asked for my info. That felt dodgy, so I called Lloyds myself. Turns out they hadn’t sent any messages and didn’t know the number either, mentioning they never use 0330 numbers. Quite fishy if you ask me.
