I told them straight it was dodgy and they started arguing with me - I just ended the call. A week after, they tried the same on my 89-year-old mum, but thankfully she’s sharp and told them off before hanging up. The guy was pretty rude and pushy with her too.

Some guy rang me and I told him I’m not interested in any cold calls, then just put the phone down. Then he called again, moaning that I was rude for cutting him off. I did the same thing again. I'm based in Derbyshire and had a really annoying experience with a bloke calling claiming he was from 'Posh UK' and trying to sell me grants for homeowners. I told him straight up I wasn't interested and hung up, but no sooner had I done that than he rang again, asking why I'd ended the call! I told him once more that I wasn't interested and put the phone down, but then he kept ringing me back over and over - like at least five times in a row. My partner picked up the phone when this bloke rang asking if he was the homeowner. To keep it brief, my other half told him to get a real job and maybe have a good hard look at himself. The guy hung up, but he clearly wasn’t too happy about it, since he’s called back 32 times in the past hour from a blocked number. I suppose the silver lining is, as long as he’s pestering us, he’s leaving someone else alone for now.

Got a call from Posh Windows UK in Stoke, and when I asked how they got my info, they just hung up on me. I rang them back on 08001777762, and they reckoned I must've handed my details over to some door-to-door salesperson in the last year - which is totally not true! They also insisted their mailing lists come only from proper companies, but I’m signed up with the Mailing and Telephone Preference Service, so that can’t be right. Thinking of reporting them to Ofcom given how many bad reviews there are about them. Definitely spammy behaviour.
