Hey, I’ve been getting charged since September too. Has anyone taken this up with the police? I’m with EE, and I reckon the phone companies should be held accountable for this. We all have contracts with these providers, so they ought to make sure we’re not billed for stuff we haven’t used. They should ask us about any extra charges or promos before adding them. If these charges came from them, it’s their job to sort it out and refund us properly.

This is definitely a rip-off. They’ve taken £3.00 off my phone bill every week! I’m shocked this was reported on here almost a year ago and yet the phone companies still haven’t put a stop to it. I got in touch with my network (Vodafone), and while they did ring the number to make sure no more payments went through, they couldn’t get my money back for what I’d already been charged. To avoid this happening again, I’ve blocked all messages to and from premium rate numbers - which I highly recommend. these scammers have been running this con for far too long now. if you've been caught out by these muppets, please report them to the psa (phone-paid services authority) on 0300 3030 020. don’t be fooled by their pathetic offer (they tried giving me £6 back for a £24 rip-off). shout about it on twitter - they’ve got an account nuyoof###] - and let everyone know what they’re up to. also, drop a review on trustpilot. honestly, sb7 mobile ltd (the firm behind nuyoo) isn’t too chuffed with the bad press. it’s about time we shut these crooks down.

Total rip off. I spoke to three different people about that number and they all told me I could ask for a refund, but none of them would actually block the calls. Honestly, it’s safer just not to click on any links at all, otherwise you’re stuck with ads popping up on your phone all the time! I got this random text from a company called "nuyoo" saying something like "freemsg; you’re now a member of nuyoo - gym food plans @ [#]nuyoo{###] for £3 a week. Text stop to 83463 to quit. For help call 03300535869." I never signed up for anything like this, so I rang them to complain. The person on the other end said they’d refund two weeks (£6), which I’d get via text, but then I’d have to pop to the post office to actually collect the cash. I did that and got the refund, but honestly, they’d already taken way more money from me for a service I never agreed to!

They actually gave me my money back, which was good, and arranged a chat with the company on the other end. They claimed to be some kind of fitness or health business with loads of clients. I got a message earlier saying I've signed up for some website charging £3 weekly. Seems dodgy to me. I’m gonna keep an eye on my phone bills so they don’t sneak any payments through.
