Got a couple of calls from them claiming to be O2. Hard to make out what they were on about. They kept saying it was some kind of legal call and offered to slash my bills by half??? Totally confusing.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2 offering me 20% off. They mentioned they’d text me twice - one of the messages would have a security code in case someone tried to fake their identity. After that, the line just went dead.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, no voicemail left. Straight in the junk folder with all the rest of them.

They said they were from O2, but if that were true, they’d have realised I’m on a business plan and definitely not interested in some “bill savings” talk.

Was a call from overseas, said something about contracts and changing benefits. Hard to catch what she was saying. I just listened for half a minute, made sure not to agree to anything like "yes" cause thought it might be recorded and used somehow. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Felt like a dodgy scam.

Had a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from O2 mobile. At first, I totally thought she meant some sort of car network, not a phone company - bit funny actually! Definitely a scam though.

Got a call from someone with a really odd accent who said they were from O2. I reckon they were from India - I could almost smell curry over the phone. Honestly, these sorts of people are such nuisances, makes me want to leave loads of bad reviews about them! Proper pain in the neck!

Total rip off! They called saying they’re 02 and have some deal about 20% off my bill if I give them my full card details. Then they said I was getting a new iPhone 12. Why would I want a 12 anyway? And why should I cough up £30 for their dodgy scheme? Completely dodgy.

I received multiple calls from an Indian woman who seemed to be phoning from a call centre. As soon as it was clear she had no clue who I was, she abruptly ended the call. I've since decided to block her number.

Got a call claiming to be from O2 and they sent me a text with a security code, asking me to give them that number. But the message itself warned me not to share that code with anyone, so I just ignored it. They kept saying I could get 20% off for free but something about it seemed off right away.

I received a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent who said I could get a 20% discount on O2. However, she insisted on needing a one-time security code from me. It was all rather suspect, if you ask me. Definitely a scammer-best to just hang up and not engage!

They claimed to be from 02, but I’m pretty sure it was just a scam.

Car-related call, I ended the conversation quickly so I didn’t quite catch the details. Could be a scam or just some marketing nonsense, but regardless, I certainly didn’t appreciate it. I've put them on my blocked list!

I received a call from a woman claiming to be from O2, asserting that as a loyal customer, I was entitled to a whopping 40% discount. She mentioned she’d send me a link to click on. As soon as I challenged her with a question about her conscience for deceiving folks, she abruptly ended the call. Just goes to show the lengths some people will go to!

Someone said they were from O2 but just ended up hanging up straight away.

I received a call from this number, and let me tell you, her English was so unclear that I had to ask her to repeat her first statement three times before I finally understood the word "car!" I mentioned that I wasn't interested in purchasing a vehicle and was about to end the call when she claimed to be representing my phone provider. That was my cue to conclude it was definitely a scam. I ended the conversation right there.

I've managed to knock 40% off my O2 mobile bill! Since I’m not tied into a contract with them, I asked them politely to refrain from calling me in future.

I got a call from someone pretending to be from O2 who was trying to give me a "discount" of £30, but it definitely wasn’t legit. Feels like a scam to me.

I've been getting quite a few calls from this number lately, which I've been ignoring. However, I decided to pick up today, and it turned out to be an international call. Unfortunately, there was so much background racket that I couldn't catch what they were trying to sell me. So, I just ended the call.

It seems that despite making it clear I was not keen on their offerings, the mobile network people decided to call me not once, but twice more before I finally had to block the number. Quite frustrating, really!

Someone called saying they could give me 40% off my O2 phone bill (though it honestly sounded more like they were talking about a car!) but I wasn’t really buying it.

The individual who rang me was rambling on about various networks, but honestly, it was quite the challenge to decipher what she was saying. Her strong Indian accent combined with her limited grasp of English made it nearly incomprehensible. I've had enough-blocked!

Didn't pick up, I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognise. No voicemail left either. This was from Inverurie, Scotland.

just want to chime in with those saying this is just a daft prank about wifi or whatever. the recorded message cant answer questions properly, you’ll see pretty quickly. it basically makes a noise and waits for something back from you. like, you don’t even have to talk, snapping fingers or even tutting gets the same reaction, so it’s definitely all on auto-pilot. honestly, dont waste your time with it.

The person was speaking with a strong Indian accent, and I had a hard time catching what they were saying. I think it was something related to an ‘automobile network’ or something similar.

I had an unexpected call from someone purporting to represent O2, claiming I could slash my bill by 40%. Naturally, I was intrigued but asked if she could send me an email confirming this, as it all felt a bit dubious. To my surprise, I promptly received a text from O2 with a retrieval code, which she then requested from me. Fortunately, I had the sense not to share it; otherwise, she could have easily gained access to my O2 account. This could have turned into a costly affair! Stay vigilant, folks!
