Just got a message from 017739719809 pretending to be Santander. They sent me a code to pay some company I’ve never come across before. They told me to contact that same number if I wanted to report it to their fraud team. I decided to forward the message to 7726 since I’m pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a text on my phone with an OTP saying there was a payment to Amazon for £384 from my Santander account. Thing is, it’s totally wrong - and the number it came from isn’t even from Santander. Definitely suspicious!
