Got a call from someone claiming to be with a financial company, sounded dodgy. Didn’t even bother talking, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I got a call from 03300418227 but when I answered, it just went quiet. I rang back and it went straight to voicemail. The message said something about them logging my number and that they’d return the call. Still no response though.

I'm in Dublin and got calls from numbers like this for the past few weeks, I never pick up the UK ones, not worth it. Better to avoid them altogether!

I didn’t pick up and checked the voicemail later - all I could hear was static, no message or anything. Quite strange.

Got a call out of the blue from a woman who said her name was Eva Adams, but she spoke with a strong Indian accent. When I asked more about her, she said she worked at some place called ESI and did “basic financial introductions”. Smelt like one of those boiler room scams to me. Before I even got to tell her that the UK’s rules had recently changed and that I’d be reporting her to the ICO, she hung up.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise while I was stuck in a meeting, so couldn’t pick up. Not sure how they got hold of my phone details since I live in Norway. Maybe it’s because I’ve put my number down when booking hotels in the UK or buying plane tickets, but other than that, I’m baffled about how a UK caller even ended up with my Norwegian number.

I picked up a call from a random number and all I heard was some mumbling that made no sense, then the caller just hung up.

So, this person with a kinda foreign accent rang me up, trying to chat about some company, I think it was called Signed or maybe Singh? They kept going on about how I could earn money with them. I said no thanks at first, but then they pushed for me to hear them out “just to get some info”. That’s when I told them I’m totally not interested and hung up. What’s weird is they called me even though I don’t actually live in the UK!

I got a call from a firm I couldn't quite catch the name of. They said they found my number through some kind of library search? They kept yammering about online trading and stuff that made no sense. Just a total spam call, best to ignore and block straight away.
