7 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be Sky, but I’ve never even subscribed to them! They said they had some good news but then asked for my card info. They seemed to know loads about me, which freaked me out. How on earth did they get all that info? I'm seriously fed up and want some explanation. For now, I’m shutting down all my social media accounts and changing both my phone number and email.Sky8 yearsThis number rang me claiming to be from Sky, saying they’d replaced my old insurance firm. The bloke on the phone, calling himself Joey, promised to drop my monthly fee to £8. He said I could reach him on extension 4121. Then he started going on about having my bank’s prefix number and asked me to read the rest of my card digits. I hung up straight away. It’s pretty alarming because if they got through to someone more vulnerable, they might just get hold of their bank info. The guy sounded really persuasive too.SkyJoey8 yearsI got a call while I was at work, they claimed I could lower my Sky insurance bill, which baffled me since I didn’t know I even had one. They asked for my debit card info but I wasn’t about to give that out. After I said no, they just ended the call!Sky8 yearsI received an incredibly impolite call from someone, and they abruptly hung up when I mentioned that I didn’t have a subscription for Sky TV. Quite shocking, really!Sky TV8 yearsThey kept ringing saying they're from Digital TV, working with Sky. They mentioned my insurance and even knew what Sky packages we currently have. Honestly, not sure how they got hold of all that info. About 03 Numbers
Several organizations adopt 03 numbers instead of the more expensive 08 numbers. As an example, numerous public sector organizations have moved from 0845 numbers to 0345. The cost of calls is no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02). The charges for calls depend on the time of the day, and most providers provide call packages that permit calls free of charge during certain times of the day. Mobile call costs differ based on the chosen calling plan. Generally, these calls are incorporated in free call packages.
