10 monthsThis morning [25/09/20] around 11am, I got a call from 03300270571. A lady said she was ringing about insurance or some kind of cover for my kitchen appliances like the fridge, cooker and washing machine. She mentioned something about a discount but then asked for my card info. I declined and told her I’d expect to get something in writing first, especially before any payment or renewal stuff. Definitely didn’t feel right getting a call out of the blue like that. Not sure if it was just a bit annoying or something dodgy, so I can’t really say if it was harassment or something legit.2 yearsThis definitely feels like a scam call to me.2 yearsI got a call on my mobile and they somehow already knew my name. They mentioned a car we’d sold ages ago, about five years back. When I told them they had no right to call me, the person on the phone said their compliance officer would get in touch by email if I provided it! Honestly, it felt like a total scam, and they were pretty cheeky trying to get more of my personal details. I reckon these lot could be a real threat to people who might not be as cautious.2 yearsThey were chatin about some sort of petrol and diesel emission claims, sounded like a total scam to me. Best thing is just to hang up straight away and not waste your time with them.2 yearsGot a call that lasted just a couple of seconds, the number wasn't familiar at all. Checked online to see if there were any reports about it and saw some dodgy stuff, so decided to block it straight away.2 yearsThis seemed really dodgy to me. They rang and told me my car could get an emissions payout, even had my registration and my full name. But I've already checked with Money Supermarket, who I trust, and they said my car isn't eligible at all. The caller kept asking loads of questions then just hung up at the end. Would definitely steer clear of these!Money Supermarket2 yearsJust another spam caller that cuts off as soon as I pick up. Straight to the blocked list!Submit Your Own Report (0330 027 0771)
