From what I've gathered from various websites dedicated to tracking dubious phone numbers, this particular one is linked to some form of scam. The callers tend to peddle tales about government schemes encouraging people to downsize their homes to supposedly assist with housing availability. Alternatively, they may threaten that the government will seize your home if you need to enter a care facility. In either case, I’d suggest you give them a right earful and tell them to take a hike!

Got a call from this number around 5 in the evening today, no voicemail left. From what I've read here about it being a scam, I've gone ahead and blocked it using BT Protect. Honestly, it's so frustrating these dodgy folks keep trying their scams, especially targeting old people - that’s just not on. Wish there was a way to catch these scumbags and give them a real scare. Not sure if I’m being too harsh, but sometimes you just want them gone for good - no PC rules when it comes to these lowlifes!

Got a call from this number around 5pm today, no message left though. After reading others saying it’s probably a scam, I blocked it using BT Protect straight away. It's disgusting how these muppets target people, especially pensioners. Honestly wish we could catch these lowlife scammers and give them a proper telling off. Makes me mad how they keep ringing with their dodgy schemes - absolutely not on when they prey on older folks. If it was up to me, I'd deal with their kind severely (I know that sounds harsh, but the PC police can jog on).
