I got a dodgy text saying I needed to verify a payment of £415 to some bloke called J Collins. Decided to ring the number back just to mess about with whoever answered. It was pretty clear it was a scam from some call centre pretending to be Barclays bank. Total waste of time but kinda funny playing along.

I got a text claiming to be from HSBC, asking me to verify a transaction I never made. It looked pretty real, but they kept trying to get my card info and asked loads of personal questions. I told HSBC about it, but they didn’t seem bothered at all. Definitely a scam!

I just got a message from "hsbc*" saying there's a suspicious transaction and to ring 03300270065. Haven't had an account with HSBC for about two years now, so it's clearly a scam.

I’m a bit sceptical about this one, to be honest. My phone flagged it as potential spam, and they’re trying to get me to sign a contract with my provider for just £6 a month, all inclusive. It feels a tad too good to be true, if you catch my drift. They claim to be affiliated with Carphone Warehouse, but I’m not convinced.

I'm not entirely sure if this is a scam or legit, but my phone flagged the call as potential spam. They tried to get me to agree to some contract on my mobile network for £6 a month, supposedly covering everything. It all sounds a bit too good to be true, especially since they said they were from Carphone Warehouse.

Someone rang saying they were with 02 and promised a discount of up to 40% on my bill. Then they asked if I was the account holder to "check". I told them if they really worked for 02, they’d already have that info, and then they just ended the call.

So I got a call from someone pretending to be Car Phone Warehouse, but they were calling from India. They spoke really quickly and I could barely catch what they were saying, so I just ended up hanging up. Pretty frustrating!
