Got a phone call saying they could help with credit write-offs through some debt recovery scheme, but it was just a total con. Absolutely a scam.

Got a call saying there’s an hmrc fraud case against me and that if I don’t answer it, I’ll be arrested. Haha, so ridiculous! I’ve ignored over 300 of these calls without ever pressing 1, and still no arrest. Seriously, who actually buys this nonsense nowadays? What a load of rubbish!

Watch out for this number - someone called me pretending to assist with my upcoming smart meter setup, but they were actually trying to fish for my personal details.

The caller seemed to be in an open space and repeatedly introduced himself as "Andrew Kerbin" before abruptly disconnecting the line. It felt rather suspicious, perhaps a recorded message crafted to lure you into ringing back, thereby racking up unnecessary costs.
