I just received a rather daft message from these clowns, claiming I could score a complimentary tablet if I "upgraded". Oddly enough, they seemed to have inside knowledge that I was supposedly with O2, even though I’m actually on GiffGaff. I’ve gone ahead and reported them to the ICO for breaching the Data Protection Act. - Caller: Onecom

As an EE customer, seize the chance to upgrade ahead of schedule and snap up a complimentary tablet! It's a first come, first served offer! Don't delay-give Onecom a ring at 03300 245480, or if you'd rather not be contacted, simply text ONEOPTOUT to 87007. Standard terms and conditions apply-caller ID shows as UPGRADE.

Just received a message from Onecom stating I'm an 'existing customer.' Apparently, they're offering a complimentary tablet with any of their 4G mobile broadband plans. Not quite sure what that entails, but sounds intriguing!

I received a similar message from them as an O2 customer - they’re posing as your network provider in a bid to con you into signing up for a new handset, all while making you believe it's from your genuine provider. It seems they’ve got some insight into when your contract's nearing its end, as they ramp up the nonsense a few weeks beforehand to catch you off guard before the real provider reaches out. Something really ought to be done about this!

I’ve received a message that looks like others I've seen, purporting to be from EE. However, it’s glaringly obvious that these individuals must be sourcing our details from our actual provider. It’s high time we raise a bit of a fuss about this!
