Got a call from 03300241305 just now, and it was one of those dodgy AXA spoof calls. Funny thing is, I don’t even own a car or a motorbike! Definitely a scam.

Got multiple calls and texts telling me I was in some accident - didn’t answer or reply to any of them. For starters, I’m not even with AXA insurance, and secondly, I haven’t had any accidents! Definitely a dodgy scam. I saw a heads up about scams like this on this site, so good to stay alert!

Somebody pretending to be from my insurance rang me. How did they even know I had a claim open? That part seemed really fishy to me.

I looked up AXA online when I needed to make a claim and this number kept coming up as the official claims team contact. So yeah, its legit and definitely the right number to reach them on.

Last April I had a small accident and just recently "AXA Insurance" rang me up saying it was urgent for me to get in touch with them about it.

Some bloke called saying he was from AXA car insurance claims but didn’t bother to say who he was straight away. He started asking my husband to verify personal details. My husband had made a claim after our car hit a deer, but he wasn’t having any of it and refused to give anything out. After hanging up, we rang the garage handling the repairs and they said they didn’t know that number at all. It’s got us scratching our heads - how on earth did this person find out we’d filed a claim with AXA? Seems like someone’s info might’ve been leaked somewhere along the line.

So my dad got a call from this number, right? The person on the line had a strong Indian accent which made it really hard to catch what they were saying. I could also hear someone in the background basically coaching them. Then, out of nowhere, a message popped up in his scam folder claiming something about an accident, but they never mentioned where it supposedly happened. Honestly, not sure if it’s some kind of scam or maybe real, but felt pretty sketchy to me.

Claiming to be from AXA insurance about an accident I was allegedly part of - completely false! There’s been no accident at all! It really does make one ponder about how this insurance has come to be reported and by whom. How on earth did they acquire this information? Could it be an inside job? It certainly raises eyebrows!

I just received an email claiming to be from my insurance provider, with a PO Box address in Willenhall, which strikes me as rather dubious! It stated that either I or my car had supposedly been in an incident. Considering that my vehicle mostly languishes on the drive, and I have had no such misfortune, I find this assertion utterly implausible! The message purported to be from someone named Bhumi Chandra. It's quite clear what this is, but how they managed to get hold of my insurance details is beyond me-especially since I've switched companies recently due to soaring premiums!

They were acting like they were from AXA, saying I had a claim filed. Even sent a few emails too. The silly lot gave a date when my car was still parked at home the whole time!! Proper scam, don’t fall for it.

Sure looks like a fake AXA number. Total scam, best to ignore. If it was the real AXA they’d send you a letter or email.

Got a phone call from someone claiming to be from AXA Insurance saying my car had an accident on 9th October 2022. I talked it over with my son, who's on the same insurance, and he hadn’t heard anything. The number they called from was 01473 352000. After a quick search, I found out it was a scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I’ve just received a text from this number purporting to be AXA regarding a recent incident I was involved in. They did mention they might reach out. To be fair, I did have an accident about a week back, but the policy number they provided doesn’t match up at all, which immediately raised my suspicions.

Got a recorded delivery letter through the post about a car accident that never took place. Quite clearly a scam. Signed for it just to see what it was about.

Received a rather curious message earlier along the lines of, "Welcome to AXA car insurance. Your new certificate has just been uploaded to your online account. We're grateful for your choice - safe travels and happy motoring!" Now, here's the kicker: I’ve never held any form of insurance with AXA, least of all for a vehicle since I don’t possess a car or a driving licence for that matter! As if that wasn't odd enough, I got another text today saying, "For AXA car claims assistance, feel free to download the accident guide from our website and remember to save our 24-hour claims helpline at 0330 024 1305." What’s quite vexing is that I can’t seem to block these messages, as they don’t appear to be from a proper number, which only suggests it’s likely a scam. Interestingly, the contact number they provide matches the one on the AXA website: 0330 024 1305. What a right nuisance!

I’ve discovered that this number is linked to AXA insurance. I have my car covered through them, and after I had a little mishap last week, they reached out regarding my payment. I must say, they were quite pleasant and didn’t pry too much into the details. They processed my claim swiftly and I received the full amount, which was a relief.

I got a letter with some sticker for registered mail, which really freaked me out at first cos it said something that wasn’t true. I was proper stressed out. After I calmed down a bit, I thought I’d look up the phone number on the letter. Spent about 10 minutes on hold and then realised it was all just a scam. So glad I checked before panicking more!

So I received this letter claiming I’d crashed into someone’s stuff, and I wanted to challenge it. Being daft, I ended up giving them my car reg, but they came back saying they couldn’t find my details using their own reference number from the letter. Proper confusing.
