definitely dodgy, watch out its a scam!

Got a ring a minute ago from some "police community club" saying they're visiting 28,000 schools. Seriously, with everything going on right now, I doubt schools are even allowing anyone inside apart from teachers and the kids. Honestly, these folks should find a proper job - their mums and dads must be absolutely thrilled!

Keep getting calls from 03300165007, some group linked with the police asking for sponsorship for some community safety project. They say it's about working with officers in schools. Honestly feels a bit like harrassment at this point, they've called so many times!

This company just won't quit bothering you, they don’t seem to understand when you say no. Would definitely steer clear of them.

Total rip-off, no doubt in my mind the positive reviews are fake and posted by the scammers themselves. Stay clear of this!

I'd say this is definitely a scam. I called them out heaps of times, and all the positive reviews seem a bit fishy - probably from the "business" themselves, just saying the same stuff over and over. Best thing to do is just hang up and block the number.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the police community club - what a scam that was! I've come across this line loads of times before. If they were for real, you'd think they'd verify things properly with the TPS before ringing up. Definitely not trustworthy!

Over a few years, I ended up supporting some schools and every time, the school really appreciated it. The books they got were honestly pretty good quality too!

These bloody scammers just won't stop ringing me nonstop, it’s so annoying! I really wish someone would step in and do something about these nuisance callers.

We’ve had a few experiences with police community clubs running projects in primary schools - it’s a brilliant idea and the kids really seem to enjoy it. Definitely something the schools appreciate a lot.

got a call from this number, they claimed they were working with the police to visit schools about some sponsorship thing. I told them i’m the head of the nearby residents association and that i’m in contact with the local cops, who never mentioned any of this. then i asked for their company’s name, and the bloke just said “oh” and ended the call. total scam.

The so-called police community club is an absolute sham! When they started spouting their ridiculous tale, I couldn't help but laugh. Totally a scam, the whole thing's just a joke!

It screams fraud from every angle - it baffles me why action is never taken against these lowlifes.

I asked if I could speak to the owner, but apparently he wasn’t around. The caller said they were from the university, but it really came across as just another sales call.

dont trust them, they aint police. real cops would never ask u for cash for sponsorship stuff. if sponsorship was needed theyd go through proper government channels.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the police community club, wanted help for the barnsley boys club or something? Weird cos we never agree to these kinds of calls. Pretty sure they got our info from 192 [###].

Regrettably, it appears that this number is part of a fraudulent scheme, masquerading as a charity linked to the police communities. I've also contributed to this initiative aimed at supporting our local school, and they always address me by name, reaching out via a landline rather than a mobile. They even possess reference numbers from past contributions. This scam is capitalising on the goodwill of decent individuals and swindling funds from local businesses. I strongly recommend blocking this number immediately!

got a call from what said police community officers but they where trying to sell me pricey adverts, total waste of time if you ask me!

I’ve had a few calls from the police community clubs about programmes at nearby primary schools. They’re completely real and legit, I’ve actually teamed up with them a couple of times now. Definitely not a scam or anything dodgy.

I recently came across the Police Community Clubs initiative here in the UK. After having a chat with the headmaster at my local primary school, I found him quite enthusiastic about the scheme. I'm pleased to say I've decided to contribute some drug awareness packs for the children.

Got a call from 0330 016 5007 about some so called police community stuff. Total scam, I told them to jog on and hung up. It's nothing genuine from the cops!

Steer clear of Boon; they're up to no good and looking to con you. We’ve had a few of these attempts ourselves, aimed right at businesses like ours. Best to just brush them off and not engage.

I received a rather dubious call from someone who pretended to be affiliated with the Police, claiming they were involved in local crime prevention efforts. They inquired whether I still ran my business, and the moment I replied in the negative, they abruptly hung up. It all felt rather off and raises some serious red flags. This needs to be addressed immediately!

It’s the Police Community Clubs initiative. I’ve had the pleasure of sponsoring a handful of books for a primary school in my area as part of their campaign focused on drugs and alcohol awareness. I've participated in this twice already, and the headteacher was over the moon about it. A genuinely reputable organisation, for sure!

Received a telephone call from this number, where the caller claimed to represent the police. They were soliciting local businesses to fund packs that supposedly contain information about the risks associated with alcohol and drugs for schools in the area.
