Same experience as many others with this car claims outfit. I told them to take me off their list, but the woman kept going on about whether I’d been in a crash. Eventually I was shouting at the phone telling her to just erase my info from their system. I’ve done this loads of times now. If I say remove me, that should be done, right? I was expecting some really important calls from the hospital and stuff, so when this 0330 010 4288 popped up, I picked up. All I caught was the word ACCIDENT, so I asked if it had anything to do with pregnancy and then, just like that, she ended the call. Proper rude, haha!

Just let them know straight away they’re being recorded and tracked before you even say anything else. They usually don’t ring back after that. If you’re in a cheeky mood, answer with "Good morning, afternoon or evening, you’ve reached the (local) police station, is there an emergency? How can I assist you?"

Some woman called saying I’d been in an accident. When I said no, she just said “that’s good”. I asked where they got my number from, and she told me she’d take me off their list and then just hung up. Strange call.
