At first glance, it seemed quite credible, so I went ahead and rang the number. However, the bloke on the other end was exceedingly curt, which prompted me to hang up swiftly. I decided to power down my computer and ensure that my restore settings were disabled. After some time, everything appeared to be alright. However, the grammar in that warning message was rather dreadful-certainly not up to Microsoft’s usual standards. I truly doubt they can harvest your data; it’s more likely a ploy to con you into disclosing your financial details.
