I’m really sick of getting calls from this number - the so-called window scrappage scheme is a joke. Even though we’re registered with the TPS, it feels totally pointless. I wish I could recall that Radio 4 show I heard not long ago, where a bloke actually billed the telemarketer for his time and won the money through small claims court. Wouldn't mind doing the same!

When you complain to them, it’s like they’re grilling you - asking what the number is, if it’s the first time you’ve been called, which company it was, and who you spoke to. This number has been ringing me up around three times every day for nearly three weeks now. Just today, Sunday morning at about 9:30, it called again. I never pick up since I’ve no clue who it could be. When I tried ringing it back while hiding my number, it said the number couldn't be found. Today (23/11/2013) I got a call from this number, bit of an automated message about low efficiency boilers and some kitchen recycling scheme, seems to be the same one others mention.

I’m registered with the TPS, and have recently been added to the National Directory Database too, which is meant to block marketing calls. Also, I made sure to remove myself from the local council’s edited electoral register.

Despite all this, I’ve been bombarded with loads of cold calls over the last few months. Most are automated messages or silent calls. Some of those recordings talk about the boiler/kitchen recycling scheme. Others mention energy-saving windows or a government solar panel scheme. Feels like it’s all coming from one firm.

Normally the number’s hidden, but today they slipped up and showed this one.
