I couldn't take this call on my mobile, so I decided to check who-calls.me.uk, only to discover it's been flagged as a nuisance call.

It seems like this number is linked to the Virgin Media crew, as I've taken the step to block 0800 0521251 due to incessant nuisance calls every single day. Now, I’m receiving calls from this other number which I find rather suspicious, especially since it tends to ring immediately after the calls I’ve barred. Quite the coincidence, wouldn’t you say?

Someone claiming to be from O2 called me, saying they needed to upgrade my phone or contract. They then asked for a code that popped up on my phone while we were still talking. Definitely a scam, be careful!

Every time I've upgraded via phone, I've encountered courteous, professional service, and have been delighted with the offers I've received. Before diving into any account details, they always ensure to verify your identity for security reasons. They'll connect you with the most suitable deal for either a SIM-only plan or a device upgrade, and to top it all off, they’ll dispatch your new phone to you free of charge.
