I didn’t pick up this number on my phone earlier. I decided to check it out on who-calls.me.uk and found out loads of people said it’s a spam call.

I keep getting calls claiming to be from Virgin Media, but I've put their number 0800 0521251 on my block list because they kept ringing me all the time. Now, this new number keeps phoning straight after those blocked ones, so it’s definitely related - not just a random call. It’s really annoying having to deal with that every day.

Someone claiming to be from O2 called me, saying they needed to upgrade my phone or contract. They then asked for a code that popped up on my phone while we were still talking. Definitely a scam, be careful!

No need to worry about this number, it’s actually from an O2 call centre based locally that helps a bunch of shops across Northern Ireland and Scotland. They cover places like O2 in Bangor Main Street, Enniskillen, Magherafelt, and Dungannon, as well as spots in Scotland like Clydebank, Stranraer, The Forge, and Greenock. Other areas on the list include O2 stores in Armagh, Cookstown, Limavady, and Airdrie too. It’s legit and just part of their customer service setup!

After chatting with O2, I got a phone call from this number. The message said that my upgrade was finished today and my new mobile is being sent out. They claimed to have updated everything on my account. If I needed to get in touch, I could ring them at 003300040202, available 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday. It ended with thanks from Kyle.

For a few years now, I’ve been sorting out upgrades through this call centre in Coalisland, Northern Ireland. They actually run several O2 outlets all over Northern Ireland and Scotland. Every time I've dealt with their call centre, the experience has been professional and the staff genuinely friendly. Plus, they've always managed to offer me cracking deals. Before they chat about any account details, they make sure to verify your identity properly, which I appreciate. They’re pretty good at matching you with the best offer available, whether it’s for a Sim only plan or a handset upgrade. Best of all, they send the new phone over to you at no extra cost. Really top-notch service here! :)
