They kept ringing me for three days straight but never bothered to leave a voicemail. When I finally picked up on the third day, there was no one there. I’ve decided to block the number now.

This evening, my mum got a call from this number. The person on the other end asked for my dad, but when my mum asked who they were and why they wanted to talk to him, they just kept insisting they needed to speak with him. My mum told them he had passed away, which seemed to catch them off guard. Then they started saying she might be owed some money because of his death. My mum thought it sounded fishy and asked why they’d never mentioned anything like that before in the 6 years since he died. After that, they quickly hung up. Definitely a scam.
