2 yearsI got a call from a bloke named Mike, sounded like he was overseas cos there was a lag before he picked up. He asked to speak to me by name straight away. Then he said, “How are you today?” I answered, “Who’s this?” He gave his name and added, “Don’t worry, I’m not selling you anything.” Still, no company mentioned or reason for ringing, so I just ended the call. I’m pretty cautious about who I share my number with, so no idea where he got it from. When these calls come through, I just say, “Not interested, cheers. Bye,” and hang up quick as.Mike2 yearsGot a call about a free medical alert device, but turns out it’s £29.91 each month after a month unless you return it. They kept pushing me to share my bank info, which I wasn’t having. I said just send the thing over and if I decide to keep it, I’ll pay by cheque since I never put bank details over the phone. After a bit of back and forth, the bloke gave in and ended the call.2 yearsThis could well be a scam, watch out.2 yearsGot a call from some bloke with a really heavy Eastern European accent, mumbling about working for some organisation I couldn't make out at all. When I asked for his name he just cut me off and ended the call. Complete rubbish.
