I got a call about upgrading my phone and they asked me to confirm my email, then tried to get me to share a password that was supposedly sent to it. From what I understand, if you do that, they might be able to take over your account or something like that. Sounds dodgy to me.

This number kept ringing non-stop throughout the day, targeting both me and my husband. They first attempted to get into our EE account, then tried to upgrade a phone, even attempting to alter the account’s password and email. Thankfully, EE’s fraud team caught on and stopped them just before they ordered a phone worth £1500 under our name. My husband had to reach out to his bank because he accidentally shared some personal info. Definitely a sketchy number - don’t pick up if you see it!

I received a ring claiming to be from Sky, offering a 30% discount on my TV subscription for a year. Soon after, they were pushing me to purchase a new mobile phone, saying if I put down £30 as a deposit, they’d refund it next month. They even asked for my Sky password! After about ten minutes of all this, I decided to just hang up. The call came from a mobile number, so be careful and don’t be fooled by these types of calls.

Someone has been impersonating Sky and trying to coax me into changing my account passwords. Quite the dodgy tactic if you ask me!

Got a call from this number claiming to be Sky. They said they could get me a better deal and asked for my email and password. We talked for like 20 minutes, then suddenly they just ended the call. After that, they kept ringing me loads of times. I rang Sky myself and they told me they had no contact with that number - total scammer trying to rip me off.
