Numbers starting with 033 seem to be favourite for scam calls asking for money. It’s a good idea to block these whenever they ring you, although sadly it probably won’t completely stop the calls.

Got a call from someone saying they were with some credit thing, and after I said I wasn’t interested, they just kept talking. When I asked for their company registration number, they hung up on me. Pretty obvious scam.

Been getting loads of calls from this number, pretty sure it’s some sort of spam.

I think it might be a scam. They sent a code for some random verification thing, then said if it’s not me to ring 033912 1330 about an AIRBNB payment. Definitely sounded dodgy.

0033264779083 called me claiming to be from Amazon, saying there was some weird activity on my account. they also asked if I had prime. then they told me to visit a site called anydesk - that’s when I got really suspicious and ended the call. changed my Amazon password straight away and made sure nothing was taken. dodged a bullet there!

they keep phoning even after i block them, just switch up a few numbers then ring again. whats the point? i just let it go to voicemail and never bother picking up.

Some foreign lady called, said she was from 'urban village' or something like that? I just replied 'scammer!' and hung up quick. Got the number from 1471 and tried ringing back but just got that weird unrecognised number message.

this number rang me a few times, but i didn’t know who it was, so kept it brief with whoever was calling. they asked if i had received a letter about the corona virus or something similar. i said yes, then they wanted to come round to do a test. i said a definite no - theres no way anyone is coming to my house. then they just hung up. that’s when i wrote the number down and decided i wouldn’t pick up if they called again. jill 9

I got a call from a number I didn't recognise and the area code was completely unfamiliar.

rang my mum and then kept on spamming her with texts. had to block the number.
