This number keeps ringing me up daily asking for Garjit Kaur, who isn’t me at all. I tell them each time they’ve got the wrong person, but they don’t seem to get the message. I even requested them to mark my number as a wrong contact in their system, yet the calls don’t stop. To be honest, it’s really starting to annoy me. Does anyone know where these calls are coming from? Could it be some kind of scam? Would appreciate any insight!

Got a call from some telemarketer earlier. I told them I was tied up and they ended up asking for my brother, not me. Pretty sure it ain't a genuine TM call. Think I'll just block the number now. LOL.

I just rang TM a bit ago and they told me it's for real. If anyone's unsure and wants to check, you can phone AIG straight on 1800 88 8811.

From what I gather, this person isn’t exactly a TM employee. They’re part of a special crew picked by AIG to team up with TM. They actually provide you with an AIG ID, which you can verify by ringing their freephone number.

Just had a call from this number claiming they got my details from TM and are working with AIG to offer me 6 months of free insurance, saying I’m a ‘special one’ to get this reward. But it’s odd, if they really got info from TM, then why did they ask for my address? Shouldn’t my TM bill already have that info? I kept telling them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. I just want to warn everyone to be cautious with telemarketers. If you hand over your card info, don’t be surprised if money gets taken from you. Stay safe out there!

If you got a call from 0326007400, just so you know, it’s Telekom’s telemarketer ringing their existing customers to push an insurance offer. Telekom actually partners up with AIG since they aren’t an insurance provider themselves. So this is basically a joint deal they’re promoting together. One thing I don’t get tho, why do folks always look down on telemarketers like it’s some rubbish job? That’s just a mindset thing. If you check countries like Japan or Singapore, everyone’s so busy with work, they don’t bother hunting for insurance themselves, they just wait for a call to come to them. That’s why those countries are super advanced. Don’t think you’re all that just ‘cause you look down on telemarketers. Honestly, some of those people earn more than us. Give credit where it’s due and respect people’s work, yeah?

It’s actually Telekom Malaysia reaching out to offer an insurance deal from AIG Malaysia Insurance Bhd, which used to go by Chartis. The premiums are pretty reasonable and the coverage is quite comprehensive. No need to stress, this isn’t some kind of scam. If you want to check it out for yourself, feel free to ring either 1800-88-8811 (AIG Malaysia Ins Bhd) or 1300-88-8887 (TM rewards).
