Phone number ☎️ 032001159 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance scam originating from callers claiming to represent BT regarding alleged internet or broadband issues. Many callers use an Asian-accented female voice with noisy call-centre backgrounds, often asking victims to download remote access software under false pretences. The consensus classifies these calls as fraudulent, with a high risk of attempted computer hijacking or information theft.

8 yearsI answered but there was absolute quiet on the other end, so I just blocked the number.8 yearsPicked up the phone and the line just cut off. Bet they’re off trying to con someone else. Definately blocking them, mate!8 yearsNumber 032001159 called me, and when I picked up, I just caught a woman mumbling something that seemed like Chinese, then she hung up without speaking to me directly. After reading the reviews here, I’d say this sounds pretty dodgy.8 yearsGot calls from an Asian lady saying she’s from BT about some broadband issues. She sounded really pushy and always had a quick reply no matter what I said. She tried ringing me three times yesterday, but I only picked up the first one. This morning, she went and woke me up with another call. Honestly, I’m sick of it now.BT8 yearsFor the third day running, I keep getting calls from this number. Today, there was nothing but silence before the call just dropped. Seriously, who on earth are these people???8 yearsLoads of these calls actually come from overseas but pretend to be UK numbers. The TPS rules only cover genuine UK calls, so they don't really help here.UKPreference Service8 yearsThere was nothing but silence and no sounds in the background, so I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.8 yearsI picked up and said hello like I always do, but all I could hear was some quiet call centre chatter in the background, and then the call just dropped. Apparently, the TPS doesn’t stop these because they aren’t technically marketing calls. Does anyone know another way to stop these annoying calls? My email is [email protected] if you wanna get in touch.Telephone Preference Service8 yearsPicked up my phone and, as always, said "Hello, [company name], how may I assist you?" There was a short silence, then a robotic-sounding woman replied, "No, you can't," and immediately ended the call. Honestly, I’m baffled about what kind of twisted mindset leads someone to do that.8 yearsGot a call from someone with an Asian accent saying they could fix my internet issues. Total scam, of course. Tried a few times but no one ever spoke. Bit annoying really.8 yearsGot a call from them on 24th September. I’m a bit hard of hearing, so I asked her to slow down. She sounded like she was just sticking to a script. When I asked what it was about, she said it wasn’t a sale but some sort of “promotion”. I told her I’m on the TPS list and asked her not to ring me again. Then what do you know, just a few minutes later, I’m right by the phone, pick up straight away, and there she is again!Telephone Preference Service8 yearsJust like a few others, I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from BT, warning me about hackers breaching our internet. I cheekily asked if she wanted my bank info now or later. She said it was a free check, so I asked her where she was ringing from next. After that she told me to bugger off and ended the call!! 😂😂BT8 yearsGot another call this morning right at 9:01 but nobody said a word when I answered. A woman with an Asian accent was speaking, and I could hear a bunch of noise in the background. She said something about being from BT tech support. She went quiet for a bit before saying, “Want me to tell you?” I threw in if she was familiar with the Pinocchio fable, but she hung up straight away!BTPinocchio8 yearsthey keep ringing me, and if they call once more, I'm definitely reporting them. Sounds like a scam to me, so watch out folks!BT8 yearsJust like many others have said, I picked up this weird number 032001159 before I noticed it was odd. A foreign lady was on the line with a noisy call centre buzzing in the backround. I couldn't make out what she was saying so I ended up hanging up. I'm gonna report this now to the Telephone Preference Service since I heard from a consumer group newsletter that new laws mean they're cracking down more on nuisance calls, and now they can track down the company and even fine the CEO and all.Telephone Preference Service8 yearsCAUTION: THIS IS A SCAM RUN BY INDIAN CRIMINALS! I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from BT, supposedly attempting to fix my broadband issues, which they insisted were due to hacking or other outlandish tales! They tried to convince me of their legitimacy by leading me through Windows commands, making it seem like they were uncovering serious problems when, in reality, the results were completely ordinary! On the basis of their flimsy 'evidence', they then encouraged me to download a programme called "ANY DESK", which is a remote access software. The intent was clear: to take control of my computer, access my personal data, or worse, hold it hostage. I urge everyone to research "ANY DESK SCAM" - it's referenced on the Wikipedia page for Any Desk. Stay vigilant!BT8 yearsHad a call from a woman with an Asian accent, loads of noise in the background. She said my BT internet had been hacked. Let her go on for a bit then just told her I wasn’t interested and told her to jog on, then hung up. She called back straight away, saying not to hang up ‘cause it was urgent. So naturally, I hung up again.8 yearsGot a call from a woman speaking with an Asian accent, saying she was with BT. I ended up just putting the phone down before she could even explain what she wanted.BT8 yearsI had a similar experience. Messed around with that caller for about 12 minutes before finally telling them to get lost. Never hand over your login details or any personal numbers over the phone. Legit companies will sort out problems on their own and never expect your info like that.8 yearsI usually don’t answer calls from unknown numbers, so I let it go to voicemail. The call actually stopped straight away, which was odd.8 yearsGot a call from 032001159, some Asian woman saying she was from BT and that our internet had been hacked. I asked her to give me our account number and password to prove she was legit, but she couldn’t do that. Instead, she rattled off some long internet connection reference number or something, which made no sense to me. I told her cheers, we'd have our tech team check it out. Then I asked for her phone number so our team could call back, and she just hung up.
