I usually ignore calls from numbers like that. If it's important, they can always leave a message or send a text. I’ve got no patience for random calls, let them keep ringing all they want - not my issue, just wasting their own time and cash.

Had a call from someone with a strong Asian accent trying to push life insurance. Honestly, I could barely catch what they were saying.

I answered and as soon as they heard me they just ended the call. Seems like some dodgy debt management scam going on.

These lot claim to be from a debt help firm but their English is awful. They've called me from at least half a dozen different numbers now, first ones had Manchester codes, then 0300 followed by 0318 prefixes. They play recorded office noises to sound legit and try to fish for my bank details, although sometimes the line is so bad the call drops suddenly. Once when I asked why on earth I should share personal info, the bloke just called me a moron and slammed the phone down. Proper dodgy scammers.
