Yesterday, I received a rather suspicious call from a woman using this number, claiming that I had won a voucher worth R3500. She went on to ask me several questions but then requested my bank account details. Naturally, I declined to provide that information, and she abruptly hung up on me. I have a strong feeling this is a scam, so I would advise everyone to be cautious.

Beware of these callers! They appear to be some kind of loan firm, and they’ve got your details. They rattle on at such a pace that you hardly get a chance to say a word, nearly leading you into a trap to apply for loans. If you inquire about their business name or any further information, they go silent. It’s all rather dodgy!
