Upon answering the call, I was greeted by a gentleman with an African accent. He began by sharing a story about holiday vouchers and then transferred the call to a lady. The lady, who possessed a Western accent that seemed almost coloured, started pleading with me in a soft voice which gradually became more persuasive. She requested my email address, postal address, and even asked for my bank account number. At this point, I grew wary and skeptical of her intentions. I hesitated to provide my account number as I couldn't determine whether or not this was a scam. In an attempt to reassure me, she mentioned their website - www.platinumleisure.co.za - and insisted that I visit it. She ended our conversation by declaring that she would call me again tomorrow. However, I have made up my mind not to divulge my account number under any circumstances.
