I got a call from this number today, 25th October 2016. The person who spoke first was a man with a strong African accent. He started talking about some holiday voucher deal, then passed me over to a woman with a western accent, sort of mixed-race sounding. At first, she spoke very gently, nearly sweetly, trying to convince me to share my email and postal address. Then she upped the pressure, asking for my bank account details. That’s when I told her no way, I don’t feel comfortable giving that info as I’m not sure this isn’t a scam. She tried to reassure me, saying, “Check out our website www.platinumleisure.co.za, I’ll call you again tomorrow.” But I’m definitely not handing over my account number. Nope!

I got really frustrated because she wouldn't explain anything properly. When I said I wasn’t gonna share any details, she suddenly snapped, “DO YOU WANT THE VOUCHER? YES OR NO?” That’s when it hit me she was just trying to trick me. I never even asked for this voucher in the first place, and now they’re trying to pressure me with these threats. ASTRAL GROUP, honestly, you can shove that “platinum leisure” voucher long con right where the sun don’t shine.

I really need to stop this astral group, they keep taking money from my account and I’m not getting anything in return. It’s so frustrating because I haven’t used their services at all but the charges just keep coming. Would be great if someone could tell me how to get them to stop!

That number has been ringing me too, and somehow they charged me for some holiday package I never agreed to. After that, they phoned me again trying to sell some kind of discount card, and then another one... They keep pestering me like I have no choice but to accept, even though I never signed up for anything. I’m planning to ring them to cancel, but if it’s a scam, they probably already have my info and will just take the money regardless... I'm well and truly stuck here.

Avoid this, it's a total rip off. Back in 2014, I purchased a voucher and it never arrived. They claimed to be from the same company, Getaways, but when I rang them, they just didn't pick up. Meanwhile, the payment had already been taken from my account. Don't trust these lot!

This number keeps ringing me and it's definitely a scam. A woman answered and claimed she was from some company, then asked if I knew someone called Lucky Nkomo. When I told her I had no idea who that was, she just quickly ended the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me.
