I received a rather dodgy call claiming to be from HMRC. It had this pre-recorded message stating that a fraud case had been initiated against me and that if I didn’t hit 1 to talk to someone, a warrant for my arrest would be issued. I pressed 1 out of sheer irritation, hoping to voice my displeasure about this nonsense. However, after being stuck in a queue for ages, I decided to hang up and promptly blocked the number. What a farcical situation!
