I’ve been getting these recorded calls claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs saying there’s some tax fraud case against me. They tell you to press 1 to get through to HMRC, and if you don’t, they say they’ll issue a warrant for your arrest. I’ve had around 10 of these over the past fortnight, but nothing’s happened yet. My phone flags the number as possible fraud, so I just hang up instead of pressing 1 - no idea what would actually happen if I did.
