I just received a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be from Windows, insisting I check my computer. I'm constantly receiving calls from this number, and not a peep on the other end. It happens at all sorts of times, too. They're certainly not the only culprits out there, but it definitely adds to the irritation!

I received a call from this firm today. When I inquired about their name, the individual on the line mentioned they were from GO 4 COMMUNICATIONS. You can check their details here: http://go4cp.co.uk/about. Their sales contact number is 0161 446 2772. I recommend you report them to the ICO, and don't hesitate to give them a ring to demand that your number is removed from their database. I contacted the company, and while they claimed not to have any record of my number, they guaranteed that I wouldn't be bothered again. Nevertheless, I decided to lodge a report with the I.C.O. as a precaution.
