I got a call from someone claiming to be from the BT hacking team in London. They told me lots of people were connecting to my WiFi and insisted I download an app called Anydesk on my phone so they could check it out and help fix the problem. When I hesitated, they kept pushing me, saying I shouldn’t live in “dreamland” and that they were just trying to help. I told them there are loads of scams like this going about, but they kept repeating the same thing about not living in fantasy and just downloading the app. Honestly, it sounds like a total scam to me.
