I received a rather alarming automated call claiming that HMRC had initiated a fraud investigation regarding my account. The message ominously stated that if I didn’t press '1' immediately, they would issue a warrant for my arrest! It all seems highly dubious to me, as I have no outstanding debts with HMRC whatsoever. Could this just be another scam?
