I hail from KPK, and I had a rather curious encounter with a chap who insisted I should attend a meeting in Sukkur. He dangled a rather enticing offer in front of me-one million in salary every month, along with a swanky car and a posh house! Naturally, I couldn't resist sharing this astonishing tidbit with a mate of mine. Curious to get the lowdown, my friend rang him up to confirm the offer. To our surprise, this fellow pivoted and offered my friend a salary of just four hundred thousand, still with a car and a house included. So, being prudent, we decided to do a bit of digging and punched his number, 03007380358, into Google. That’s when we stumbled upon this site and unmasked him as a fraudster. Quite the eye-opener!

I was introduced to a chap named Rizwan Ahmed, and he was kind enough to pass along my LinkedIn details. Honestly, what a pair of dimwits... You really need a bit of brains to pull off such antics... I do hope that the authorities decide to intervene and take appropriate measures against these individuals.

Brilliant... He extended the exact same proposal to me about meeting up at sukker. He mentioned that I should bring my passport since, if I get the job, there'll be a need to head over to Australia and Canada for some training and to bring over machinery.

I received a rather peculiar call from this chap. He was touting a job related to agricultural products, which is quite amusing as my background is firmly rooted in IT. When I expressed my inability to handle a role in agriculture, he casually suggested that I could take on the role of director instead. It felt almost like he was trying to coerce me into accepting a position with a staggering salary of 8 lakhs along with a luxury car. After conducting some thorough research, I discovered that this offer was nothing but a scam! His command of Urdu was rather lacking, which raised further suspicions. The most bizarre part? He was beckoning me to join him in some remote rural area, presumably close to Khairpur where he seems to hail from. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

I just wanted to add that I gave them a ring again to pose a few more inquiries, suspecting this might be a scam. The individual on the other end claimed to be the proprietor of Trione Group and even shared their website link: http://www.trionegroup.com/ However, after thoroughly examining this dubious website and the so-called group, I discovered it to be utterly fraudulent. There’s a complete absence of key details such as a physical address, contact numbers, names of the board members, images of the company premises or any products, not to mention any sign of a marketing or HR department. It lacks all semblance of corporate credibility. In short, this person is entirely deceitful and not to be trusted. Do exercise caution, Cheers, JIM

Dear Iftikhar, I received a rather pompous call from someone who spoke with a heavy Punjabi accent, almost like a self-proclaimed big shot. I mentioned he could have the contact details of his company’s CEO, perhaps their email and the business address. Then our so-called "industrialist" mentioned he had quite a bit in his vehicle, whatever that means... He went on to say he was flying in from Islamabad to Sukkur tonight. He suggested we meet in Ranipur, a spot where he’s apparently acquired land for some grand livestock and agricultural ventures. (Goodness gracious!) When I pressed him for the CEO's contact number, he claimed his CEO was off to HUB for some 200 megawatt energy project installation. He insisted that due to some confidentiality clause, the CEO wouldn't be able to speak with me. Curiosity got the better of me, and I checked the flight schedules from Islamabad to Sukkur; turns out there’s no flight today. He went on about acquiring lands and industries in Karachi, declaring I could step into the role of director, of all things. What threw me was that he hadn’t asked for my CV, nor had he conducted any interviews about my education, experience, or leadership skills yet was ready to offer a salary along with a fancy car, a house, and international jaunts (chuckling to myself here). Naturally, I was a bit baffled. How on earth could one single phone call land such a lucrative offer merely by glancing at my LinkedIn profile? If anyone else has found themselves in a similar situation, I urge you to share your stories. On Sunday, the sixth of June 2017, at 7:04am, I responded to a gentleman named Iftikhar. He was speaking quite authoritatively, with a distinctive local accent... I inquired whether he might have any actual staff or a CEO I could contact, and requested the name of his company, its email, and perhaps an address. To that, Mr. Pretend Industrialist retorted that he had numerous "matters" on the go but much of it was "in his car." He then went on about his travels, claiming he was flying into Sukker from Islamabad that very night... He suggested we meet in Ranipur, stating he was involved in purchasing land and setting up a livestock and agriculture venture. My word! I pressed him for the CEO's contact details, to which he casually mentioned that his CEO was in HUB working on a massive 200-megawatt energy project and wouldn't have the confidentiality to chat. After a bit of digging, I checked the flight schedules from Islamabad to Sukker, only to discover that there were no flights that day... He insisted that he was acquiring lands and industries in Karachi and that I would be his director. I couldn't help but wonder how he could make such an extravagant offer without any knowledge of my CV, interview performance, education, experience or leadership capabilities.
